MobileIron Sentry is a filter placed in front of the corporate mail server. The Sentry analyzes all data communication to the mail server and allows only data from authorized devices to pass.
The Sentry supports a number of mail systemes, including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino (EAS-version), GMail and hosted Exchange.
Access can be managed from the web-based administration tool or from the very user friendly iPad app that enables administrators to instantly grant or deny access from mobile devices.
